Littlest Lambs is a 4 STAR Vermont accredited center, & our new center

Little Lambs Academy at Grace recently became a 4 STAR center too.

 We are based on the belief that given a nurturing, safe, & stimulating environment with dedicated teachers & staff a child will develop core values, strengthen developmental skills, build friendships, & form a sense of community based on respect for one another & learning.

Our aim is to provide a developmentally appropriate environment in which students, families, & staff are active partners that recognize the individuality of each student, fosters the uniqueness, & celebrates each child's success.

Our curriculum stimulates and challenges children's skills through a "whole child" approach that encourages pride in participation & achievement. Knowing that tactile learning is one of the best ways to to explore & experience the world, we incorporate educational field trips into our program & strongly encourage parent participation & involvement.

The Vermont Early Learning Standards guide our programming & we assess each child using either ASQ, Ounces, and Teaching Strategies GOLD.

Our staff use positive methods of guidance/discipline, which encourages self-control, self-direction, self-esteem, & cooperation. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child, at their own level & capability. Behavior beyond the child's developmental abilities will not be expected.

Serving Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age children, we are open

weekdays Monday through Friday year-round from 7:30am until 5:30pm.

 

We are approved UPK (Vermont Universal Pre-Kindergarten) providers.
